✨ What Is Grimoire Art Magic?

The Artist’s Magical Journey

From Teen Beat Collages to Spellbound Creativity

If you ask me what Grimoire Art Magic is, I’ll tell you this:

It’s the quiet truth we’ve always known…..that every act of creation is a spell, every image is a portal, and every page we touch becomes a little more enchanted just because we touched it.

And honestly?
It starts earlier than we ever think.

For me, it began in 1995, sprawled across my bedroom floor with dull scissors “NOT MOMS FABRIC SCISSORS!!!- or your grounded”, a stack of Teen Beat , old Vouge magazines, and the absolute conviction that cutting out pictures of boy-band heartthrobs and glittery headlines was important. Sacred, even. I didn’t know it then, but I was already practicing my first form of witchcraft:

the magic of arrangement, intention, and image-making for Manifestation. ~pictured below a grimoire college pop up* pull a flame from the cauldron to reveal a spell or wish~

Those early collages were proto-spells — little altars made of teenage longing, color, intuition, and instinct. Everything you hoped for, everything you dreamed, glue sticked down
And once you begin, you don’t really stop.

Fast-forward through the years, and you’d find me hoarding strange collage papers, tearing pages from forgotten National Geographics, clipping bits of maps, envelopes, receipts, and anything that whispered keep me, I might become magic.Every witch knows that feeling ….the tug of the future spell, the object calling you before you know why. Keeps the precious

That’s the heart of Grimoire Art Magic.

If you’ve ever cut out an image because it felt right, you’ve done intuitive magic.

If you’ve ever glued a picture down and felt the page shift, hum, or spark, you’ve done energy work.

If you’ve ever chosen colors based on emotion rather than logic…….CONGRATULATIONS, you’ve cast your first chromatic spell.

Witches aren’t born from cauldrons.
They’re born from curiosity, from collecting, from noticing what others throw away, from following the creative impulse like a trail of breadcrumbs through the woods. Even if no one ever sees our secret scrapbook.

Everything is witchcraft when your hands are awake.

Your grimoire doesn’t just hold your art — it holds your evolution.

Every page becomes a timestamp of who you were, what you needed, what you believed, and what you were trying to call in at that moment. A visual diary of your magic.

And as you layer words, sigils, paint, herbs, scraps, emotions, symbols, dreams

…the book grows heavier, richer, more potent.

Over time, you realize you’re not just documenting magic — you’re building it.~ Pictured below ” Cosmic Portal Door way Pop up “- “open the door to reveal your fate~

The Witch’s Truth: You Were Practicing Magic Before You Had the Language

The scissors in 1995.
The ripped-out articles.
The stacks of National Geographics you couldn’t throw away.
The weird papers you tucked in drawers “just in case.”
The journal pages that felt like spells before you ever called them spells.

All of it was magic training, hidden in plain sight.

Your grimoire is simply the next chapter in the story.
